A Winning Team Multiplier Also Applies to Your Point Total (the sum of your base points multiplied as follows):
The number of contestants divided by the number of contestants who picked the correct winning team. Using a hypothetical pool of 100 Contestants and 30 base points:
- 80 pick Team A to win. 100 / 80 = 1.25x multiplier. 30 x 1.25 = 37.5 total points
- 20 pick Team B to win. 100 / 20 = 5x multiplier. 30 x 5 = 150 total points
TIEBREAKERS:
First Prize: If multiple contestants submit the same winning prediction, the contestant who submitted the earlier prediction wins. If there is still a tie, the First Prize will be evenly split. Revisions to predictions will be updated with the new date and time received. Contestant predictions and submission times will be posted prior to the game.
ODDS:
Odds of a correct Grand Prize prediction are approximately 1:16,800. Probability of a grand prize winner with 400 entries is 1:42.
